DESCRIPTION

Kaspersky Security Center Web-Console is a web application
which runs jointly with Kaspersky Security Center and is designed to manage
anti-virus protection state in corporate networks which use Kaspersky Lab anti-virus solutions.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Using the application, you can do the following:
- manage corporate anti-virus protection state;
- install Kaspersky Lab anti-virus applications to network computers;
- view reports on anti-virus protection state;
- manage the delivery of reports to the interested parties: system administrators and other IT specialists.

  - Apache2 server 2.2.0 or later installed on Linux and properly configured (We strongly recommend using the latest version 2.2.20!).
    On the Apache2 server, the following modules should be loaded and properly configured:
     - mod_include;
     - mod_mime;
     - mod_dir;
     - mod_ssl.
  - Kaspersky Security Center Web-Console installed on Microsoft Windows and properly configured.

You can manage Kaspersky Security Center Web-Console via a web browser.
Listed below are the types and versions of web browsers, as well as types and versions
of operating systems that you can use to work with the application.

- Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or 8.0 under one of the following systems:
  - Microsoft Windows XP Professional with installed Service Pack 2 or later;
  - Microsoft Windows 7.

- Firefox 3.6 under one of the following systems:

INSTALLATION

Installation on Microsoft Windows operating systems
Run the executable file setup.exe from the application distribution kit. The corresponding wizard will guide you through the installation.
The wizard will offer you to adjust the installation settings. Follow the wizard's instructions.

Installation on Linux operating systems
For 64-bit RPM-based systems:
  rpm -i kscwebconsole-{VERSION}.x86_64.rpm 
For 32-bit RPM-based systems:
  rpm -i kscwebconsole-{VERSION}.i386.rpm 
For 64-bit DEB-based systems:
  dpkg -i kscwebconsole_{VERSION}_amd64.deb
For 32-bit DEB-based systems:
  dpkg -i kscwebconsole_{VERSION}_i386.deb
After the installation is successfully completed, run the script /opt/kaspersky/kscwebconsole/bin/kscwebconsole-setup.pl.
Follow the wizard's instructions.

LIST OF KNOWN ISSUES

- An error may occur when publishing an installation package. If you have been returned an error message when publishing an installation package, quit Kaspersky Security Center Web-Console, and then log in again.
